The CSIR – Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru, is seeking candidates for the position of Project Associate (PAT-I) for a project focused on improving dietary fat quality in creamy condiments. The position is temporary, initially until March 2025, with the possibility of extension until March 2026. Eligibility Criteria:
Essential Qualifications:
- MSc in Chemistry or equivalent degree.
Job Requirements:
- Conducting enzymatic reactions, enzyme assays, and performing fats and oil analysis.
Desirable Experience:
- Familiarity with fats and oil analysis techniques.
- Understanding of organic chemistry and related reactions.
Age Limit:
- Maximum age limit: 35 years.
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates.
Other Eligibility Conditions:
- Candidates must have completed their MSc in Chemistry. Students in their final semester or awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates with over 6 years of experience as Project Staff in any CSIR lab/Institute are not eligible.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and experience, according to the recruitment committee’s criteria. Shortlisted candidates will receive interview details via email. No TA (Travel Allowance) or DA (Daily Allowance) will be provided for attending the interview.
