Modi shared how beloved Indian animated characters, like Chhota Bheem, are enjoyed by kids around the world. He mentioned that shows like Krishna, Hanuman, and Motu Patlu have fans far beyond India.

He praised the growth of India’s animation and gaming industries, saying, “Animation is everywhere… India is expanding rapidly.” Modi pointed out that Indian talent is also making a mark in global projects like Spider-Man and Transformers.

He highlighted the use of virtual reality (VR) in tourism, where people can visit famous Indian places through animations made by Indian artists. Modi urged young people to take advantage of the many opportunities in storytelling, gaming, and VR, saying that the next big animation hit could come from them.

Finally, he invited young innovators to commit to making India a leader in animation, especially as World Animation Day approaches on October 28.
