ITBP Telecom Recruitment 2024: Apply Online for 526 Sub-Inspector, Head Constable, and Constable Posts

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has announced the recruitment of 526 positions within its telecommunications division for the year 2024. The vacancies are for Sub-Inspector (SI), Head Constable (HC), and Constable positions. Candidates with relevant qualifications in telecommunications are encouraged to apply.

Vacancy Details:

• Sub-Inspector (Telecom): 92 vacancies
• Head Constable (Telecom): 383 vacancies
• Constable (Telecom): 51 vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Sub-Inspector (Telecom):
   • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Science (with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics), IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields; OR BCA; OR B.E. in Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Electrical, or IT.
   • Age Limit: 20 to 25 years.
2. Head Constable (Telecom):
   • Educational Qualifications: Associate Membership in relevant engineering fields; OR 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; OR 10th pass with two-year ITI certificate in relevant fields.
   • Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
3. Constable (Telecom):
   • Educational Qualifications: 10th pass with Science (PCM) and a three-year diploma in Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, IT, or Electrical; OR Matriculation with an ITI certificate or diploma in a related field.
   • Age Limit: 18 to 23 years.

Salary (Pay Scale):

• Sub-Inspector (Telecom): Rs. 35,400 to 1,12,400/- (Level-6)
• Head Constable (Telecom): Rs. 25,500 to 81,100/- (Level-4)
• Constable (Telecom): Rs. 21,700 to 69,400/- (Level-3)

Selection Process:

1. Written Exam
2. Physical Proficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)
3. Document Verification
4. Medical Examination
