The age limit is 56 years, and the candidate must hold an analogous position or have five years of service in the Level-6 pay matrix.
- Sub-Inspector: A Bachelor’s degree is required, along with two years of experience in criminal investigations or related fields. The age limit is also 56 years, with candidates expected to be holding an analogous post or have six years of service in Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.
- Assistant Sub-Inspector: Candidates must have a graduation degree and at least two years of experience in handling criminal investigations, intelligence work, or managing information technology. The age limit is 56 years, with candidates expected to be serving in Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 – 81,700) for five years.
- Head Constable: Applicants should have completed their 12th class or equivalent from a recognized board, with experience in intelligence work. The age limit is 56 years, and candidates must be holding an analogous post on a regular basis.
Pay Scale:
The positions offer competitive pay scales:
- Inspector: Level-7 (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400)
- Sub-Inspector: Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400)
- Assistant Sub-Inspector: Level-5 (Rs. 29,200 – 92,300)
- Head Constable: Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 – 81,700)
