COUNCIL OF SCIENTIFIC & INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH (CSIR) had advertised 76 posts of Section Officer (Gen/F&A/S&P) vide Advertisement No. E-1/RC/2023/1 in December, 2023. The Stage-I (Paper-I and Paper-II) and Stage-II (Paper-III) Examinations of CSIR CASE-2023 have been completed.
As per the Scheme of Examination notified for the post of Section Officer, Interview of the candidates is to be conducted and it carries 100 marks. List of candidates to be called for interview for the post of Section Officer is prepared keeping in view the number of vacancies, total marks of the candidates in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III in aggregate and subject to securing the notified minimum threshold marks in Paper-III. It has been decided that the count of provisionally shortlisted candidates to be called for interview will be calculated in the ratio of 1:2.5 against the number of advertised posts of Section Officer for each category.
Accordingly, the list of candidates being called for the interview is enclosed as Annexure-I. A total of 191 candidates have been called for interview according to Annexure-I. Category wise vacancies and cut-off marks (Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III in aggregate of 500 marks) for deciding the list of candidates for the interview is given below:-

Venue and dates for the interview :-
i) Place of the Interview : New Delhi
ii) Date of Interview : From 25.10.2024 (Friday) to 29.10.2024 (Tuesday)
iii) Reporting Time : Forenoon session ; 08.:30 Hours and Afternoon Session ; 11:00Hours.
Interview Call Letters containing details (including specific time/date for the interview) can be downloaded w.e.f. 04.10.2024 (10:00 hrs) from the online examination portal https://csir.cbtexamportal.in/.
No request for change in dateand time of Interview intimated to the candidates shall be entertained.
The candidates must appear in the interview personally along with all the relevant documents in original mentioned in the Interview Call Letter.
The candidate is free to converse either in Hindi or in English during the interview.
